Bringing the Nation's 2nd-Largest School District Online
How Aspen helped the Los Angeles Unified School District transition employees and students to a completely online environment when COVID-19 hit
Overview
LAUSD is the second largest school district in the nation, with more than 700,000 students K-12th grade. In a time of unprecedented school closings, the Los Angeles Unified School District (LAUSD) needed to move all students and more than 75,000 staff members to an online learning platform fast.
The Challenge
LAUSD was receiving an exorbitant number of calls and needed a platform that would allow administrative staff and teachers to offer parents and students remote support, field IT questions, connect to the mental health hotline, and more.
The Solution
Aspen created a custom CCP using AmazonConnect, with advanced integration and a cloud contact center with custom queues and real-time reporting.
